the second day of jterm is over. it hasn't become more than i can handle yet which is good.
the class consists of:
- a quiz everyday on the previous days chapter
- 2 exams and a final
- an 8-10 page literature review on my choice of topic...which at this point will be how television and media influence children's eating habits and nutrition.
- reading the book previously mentioned in my last entry and writing a 3-4 page reaction to the book and analysis based on class material...and speaking of the book...i'm halfway through in 2 days. i always did like reading :)
- a presentation with a partner on an article assigned..mines related to children, their environment and poverty. and my partner is a freshman and she seems really nice.
- a 3 hour observation in the early learning center and handing in notes and 6 summaries and 3 comparison statements related to the observation
i think this class will be very doable and for that i'm happy since i'm no longer taking it pass/fail.
well i think i'll read alittle more then head to bed.

If you need real life stories...I can definitely fill you in on how eating habits are influenced by television. A certain red headed little boy has lots of stories to share.
i like to eat and watch tv. hope that helps.
