tomorrow marks the start of my last semester of college.
crazy. it seems like just yesterday i was moving in..ready to start my first year of college and now it's almost over. alot has changed in the past four years, some things i'm happy about and others i wish i could go back and change. but i'm happy with where i am right now. slightly scared about what the future holds but ready to move on.
and like clockwork...i'm homesick. it happens every jterm...regardless of how long christmas break is. i'd much rather be at home in my quiet, almost spooky, living room then sitting here in a quiet dorm room.
this jterm i'm taking child development. one of the required books for the class is a novel: "there are no children here: the story of two boys growing up in the other america" by alex kotlowitz. being the good student i am or maybe just someone who likes to think ahead...i notice the book is a good 2-300 pages and doing the math with how long jterm is...i decide to start the book tonight. so far it has caught my attention and is quite interesting. so stay tuned for an update...i think it might be a good one.
well now that the time is nearing closer to midnight i can take my antibiotic for my sinus infection...which is hardly noticeable to me anymore but i must finish the antibiotic...i'm well aware of what happens when you don't. *custer face*
until next time my readers....

hope you're feeling better soon!
If you ever need any kids to analyze...you know you're always welcome at our house.;-) We've got three---one of them happens to be grouchy sometimes because of an MFA. I'm sure he would be happy for you to observe what it's like to be a student of graphic design. He's make you some pretty strong coffee...that's what it takes!
he calls it cruising altitude...is he up to 4 cups of coffee now? by graduation he'll be up to 6 or 7...the coffee industry is making a killing off the masters' students!
