the new year has come...

so i'm alittle late in posting. i was doing so well for awhile too.

well christmas was a good time. i didn't really ask for anything big but a few new vera bradley's were a nice gift anyway :) dan also got me a really pretty silver locket and the first edition of mr. popper's penguins..one of my favorite children's books. :) our christmas dinner was pretty small this year. only 7 of us. dan came on christmas and stayed til that thursday morning. he was also able to come to christmas with nancy. i worked a bunch during the week between christmas and new years. i also got to hang out with some friends from high school which was a good time.

dan came monday for new years eve and is here until tomorrow morning. monday night we went to dinner at red lobster and then saw the new national treasure with my parents. the movie was pretty good. new years day we went to my aunt's house for dinner as usual. we were down 6 people so it was another quiet dinner...nothing to complain about.

wednesday we went to atlantic city. we took the bus down. my dad's bus company does a line run everyday and it's 20 bucks roundtrip and then the casino gives you money back. so it works out. we played a few of the penny machines..lost money of course and then had lunch at the buffet which was really good. it was so cold and windy that day so we didn't too much walking outside on the boardwalk. the bus ride was very interesting...you get a bunch of old people on a bus who have just gambled for the day and you got a lot of funny stories.

thursday i worked and yesterday i got sick with a sinus infection but danny was here to take good care of me. :) of which i'm very thankful for. now i'm all drugged up on ibuprofen and antibiotics and i'm good to go. tonight we went to applebees for dinner and now we're gonna watch casino royale.

until next time. :)
