home at last.

finals are finally over. thank goodness. they didn't go too bad...i don't do well when it's just a straight week of tests. i get very unmotivated. oh well..i still did alright. last night dan and i played settlers of cattan with linda and liam for the first time. being that linda is very competitive when it comes to gaming..she won but that's ok. we still had a lot of fun. :)

now i'm at home. i left this morning after an egg white and bacon omelet with dan in lottie. i got home around 11ish and did some christmas shopping for dan's stocking :) i also found williams and sonoma cookbooks for 6.99 so i got the appetizer, meat and poulty, pasta and rice, and dessert ones :) my goal once i graduate is to start cooking more and learning to experiment with things. i spent the afternoon wrapping presents and organizing the custer family photos. :) here is my mother's christmas workshop set up in our basement.


i love being home at christmas b/c my mom goes all out with the decorations and they look so nice. hence why we have 3 trees...3 trees you ask...well the big one in our living room with the eclectic ornaments on it. then a small one by our coat closet with my mom's barbie christmas ornaments on it. and then a disney tree in our sunroom in honor of our disney vacation. :) dan even calls the tree in our living room "THE christmas tree" :) and now before i go...in honor of our trees..a picture of a disney ornament i took with dan's old camera that has been passed on to me for the time being. :)
